Here is how to use Yelp API Python

Step 1: Obtain access to the Yelp API
Sign-up on Yelp.Go to the Manage App tab and click on Create App. Fill in the form and click on Create New App. You will get your API keys from the Manage API access section on the site. 

Step 2: Getting the Rauth library
Yelp’s API uses OAuth authentication for API calls. You can use a third-party library like Rauth to handle OAuth for you. There are other free libraries you can use. You can use easy_install rauth or pip install rauth to download the library.

Step 3: Write the code to query to the Yelp API
You will need to figure out what information you need. Refer to the documentation to get the different parameters and the correct syntax.

We can now put everything together. If you’re compiling any sort of significant dataset, you’ll probably want to perform numerous API calls as Yelp will only deliver a maximum of 40 results at a time. 10,000 API calls per day are currently permitted by Yelp, which should be more than enough to build a dataset! However, I always make care to rate-limit myself while I’m doing repeated API requests.

Here is how to use the Yelp API PHP
Visit the Yelp developers website. You can log-in using your Yelp credentials or create a new account.
After creating the creating a new app, you will obtain the API key used for authentication.
To create Yelp  PHP client, you need to create a client explicitely.
Yelp API version 3 (Fusion) requires an OAuth2 access token to authenticate each request. The oauth2-yelp is available to help obtain an access token.

Yelp API Swift example

Go to Yelp’s developer page and create a developer account. After creating a new app, you get ClientID and API key. 

Open Xode and create a single view Ap. Click Next and fill in the requested information,

Don’t forget to choose Swift as the “Language”and Storyboard as “User Interface”. Let’s begin writing code now that our Xcode project is prepared. In the project’s main directory, create a new empty Swift File and give it a name like Venue.swift.

Create a simple struct and name it Venue. We will use this structure to save information about a venue. Let’s assume that we are interested in venue’s ID, name, rating, price, distance and we want to know whether is it is closed or open.

Make a new empty Swift file and name whatever you like. Here I chose FetchBusinessData.swift. Make an extension to ViewController class and declare a function inside it which will be used to fetch data from Yelp API. I personally like to create the function in a separate file so that the code will not look very messy and everything is organized! If you don’t like it, you can just create the function inside the ViewController class.

Using Yelp API with Rails

• You need to register and get API key from the developer site. 
• You need to get Google Map key from the Google Developers console. 
• This is a sample Rails application using the Ruby gem. To check it out in action, visit http://rails-yelp.herokuapp.com/.

The key take away here is that you’ll want to place an initializer inside of config/initializers that set’s up the keys for the gem.

How to use Yelp API Angular

This example was  generated for  Angular CLI version 7.0.2.
Developers side :Run ng serve for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.

Code scaffolding: Run ng generate component component-name to generate a new component. You can also use

• Before you can use the plugin, you need the Yelp API for wordpress and create a new APP. Go to the  Yelp developers website and create a new app and collect the new API key and ClientID.

• Adjust the setting and add the API key. Before you use the Widget you need the API key from Yelp.  Click on settings > Yelp Review Widget.

Zoom API is a great tool that developers can use to integrate Zoom into their applications. The Zoom API integration offers better security, and management, and is independent of third-party vendors. The zoom meeting API has two authentication methods:

• Auth 2.0: Request allows users to authorize your platform to use their data.
• JWT Web Tokens (JWT) allows server-to-server authentication.

Which authentication method you use will depend on your specific needs. If you want to build an App that can be purchased on the Zoom marketplace use Auth2.0. If you want to build an App for internal usage. We will focus on the Zoom api oauth, since it has wider applications and gives developers access to larger portion of the Zoom rest API.

• Visit the Zoom marketplace and sign up. You will need to log-in again.
• Click on Develop tab and then Build App.
• Alternatively, you can visit the Zoom marketplace and choose your app type page.  And click on the OAuth app.
• Name your app, and ensure you use an Account-level app, since it is more comprehensive. We recommend you uncheck “the publish” to marketplace till you are more familiar with the Zoom apps API.
• There are several pages of set up before you can publish your App.
• You will be to see your Client ID and Client Secret. Store your Client Secret securely and should not be used in plain text when stored in the cloud repository.
• In the Redirect URL and Whitelist field you will need to enter: marketplace.zoom.us/docs/oauth/callback/success.
• You will be asked to fill in basic information like the developer’s name and email address.
• You can skip the features page and go on to Scope API. The scopes you need for the app must be assigned here. The scope for which the App will enquire about user permission here. Then click Add Scopes. For this test, a user is required: Add that one by adding read: admin scope.

• First, you need to create an SDK by clicking on the SDK option on the Zoom App Marketplace page under the Build App option.

• Your workspace must be on an Enterprise plan.
• Your Identity Provide (IdP) should support SAML 2.0 protocol.

Enterprise Plan Work workspace can generate and view SCIM API tokens by going to Settings & members → Security & identity → SCIM configuration.

Revoke tokens

How to use Notion API iOS

• Start by creating Notion integration and create your Notion DB. Copy Notion API Key and database_ID
• Install Notion API for iOS. You can install it from the pod.

How to use Notion API Typescript

• Go up to Notion developer portal and create a new integration. The API key and secret key you’ll need to authenticate your requests will be sent to you as a result. You require a Notion database for storing and fetching data. 
• Set up a new TypeScript project. You can use a project generator like Create React App or set up a project manually.

The –ts flag allows your app to run using Typescript. This command will create a basic Next.js app inside the folder blog_app. Once the process is done, navigate to the blog_app folder using the command cd blog_app and install the notion client package:

On the project root folder, create a .env file. This file will host the notion integration key that Next.js needs to access and connect with the notion API. Go ahead and add the two notion variables, the integration token key and the database id:

Replace your_notion_api_key with your actual Notion API Key and your_notion_database_id with your actual Notion database ID.

The most used Notion APIs are 

• Notion Database API: The Notion database API is core how information is stored in Notion. You can use the API to interact with the Notion database, get specific database entries, update or delete entries, and get a list of all entries. 
• Notion pages API: You can use the Notion page API to interact with pages. It can help create new page, set page properties or retrieve page properties.

Notion API create page

Notion API create page creates a new page that is a child of a existing page or a database. If the new page is a child of an existing page is the only valid property in the properties body param. 

Notion API get page content

The Notion API get page content or working with page content allows you to read page content using the retrieve block children endpoint. The end point returns the list of children for any block that has children. 

Notion API update page

The Notion API update page updates the properties page in the database. The properties body param of this end point can be used to update the properties of a page that is child of the database.
