How can a Tron developer help you?

Tron is a decentralized platform with its protocols, blockchain explorer, and cryptocurrency. Tron Foundation founded Tron blockchain in 2017. The foundation wanted to create a global entertainment system for sharing digital content cost-effectively.

Tron Developers can work in the ecosystem may include products like Tron chain, wallets, smart contracts, and dApps. These products work together to ensure the stability of the Tron ecosystem. They use several programs like Java, Solidity, C++, and more. Tron developers create scalable and decentralized apps on the Tron Blockchain. In this blog, we discuss various facets of Tron development.

What is Tron blockchain?

Tron blockchain is a decentralized digital platform. Tron has its cryptocurrency called Tronix or TRX. It uses blockchain technology and peer-to-peer network to remove the middleman and allow content creators to sell their art directly to clients. Tron developers have used Solidity language to create different programs on the Tron blockchain.

The currency used in the network is Tronix or TRX. Users can store their crypto-asset in a desktop, mobile, or hardware wallet. Some of the main features of the Tron blockchain are-

  • high throughput
  • high scalable
  • high-level storage
  • compatible with EVM
  • proof-of-stake

The basic building blocks of the blockchain are Tron dApps, smart contracts, tokens, and proof-of-stake consensus. Tron developers have focused more on user experience and design instead of focusing only on advancing technology. Tron technology is compatible with ETH. Tron hopes to compete with web-based entertainment portals like Netflix and Amazon.

How does Tron token work?

We need to understand how Tron tokens work. Tron works on the proof-of-stake consensus model. It works on a decentralized network. Tron blockchain exchanges data through three layers –

  • Core layer – Instructions in Java or Solidity sent to the Tron Virtual Machine.
  • Application layer – Tron developers create wallets and applications powered by TRX crypto.
  • Storage layer – Stores Tron blockchain history and state data.

Creators have the flexibility of creating their tokens within their decentralized apps (dApps), and the main TRX token supports new tokens. Content creators do not pay a transaction fee as transactions are free on the platform.

27 super representatives validate transactions and maintain transaction history. The super representatives earn TRX coins as a reward for their service. New blocks are added to the Tron blockchain every 3 seconds. Super representatives and users use three types of nodes,

  • Witness nodes propose blocks and vote on the protocol
  • Full nodes broadcast transactions and blocks.
  • Solidity nodes sync full nodes and provide API.

TRX staking on Tron requires Tron users to use the network resource called Tron Power to vote on super representatives.

Key attributes of Tron crypto

Tron is one of the fastest-growing blockchains. Tron uses a proof-of-stake system which uses less power than cryptocurrencies like bitcoin. Tron's unique architecture allows the network to handle many transactions simultaneously compared to a proof-of-work system and handles massive 10,000 transactions per second. The platform supports different kinds of blockchains and smart contracts. The native token is called Tronix.

Transactions for TRX coins are over the distributed public ledger. TRX’s transaction model is called UTXO. Tron coins are mined over a consensus network to stake Tron cryptocurrency. Key attributes of Tron crypto are,

  • Infrastructure: Tron uses decentralized infrastructure is used for gaming systems, forecasting, distributed exchanges, and autonomous gaming.
  • Personal ICO: A user can distribute any digital assets that users can purchase to enjoy the services and benefits.
  • Data freedom: Tron has complete freedom of data. Users can upload, share and distribute content with all users without restriction.

Top 10 offerings of a Tron developer

Here is a list of the top 10 offerings from experienced Tron developers,

1. Tron wallet web developer

Tron wallet web developers are responsible for developing and maintaining Bit Torrent’s web products, API, and servers, and implementing UI/UX design wireframes into visual elements. They help implement web-based UI for crypto wallet applications. Wallet developers should be able to understand and operate various 3rd party tools/services/platforms. They should have strong javascript, HTML, and CSS and have experience using JS framework, React, Angular and Backbone.

2. Setting up TRC20 wallet?

TRC20 wallet supports whose address. TRC20 is a standard for creating tokens in the Tron network. TRC20 tokens are compatible with the ERC20. The TRC20 wallet address is the address users require to transfer cryptocurrency in their wallets. You can manage TRC20 assets (balance, transfer) in your TRC wallet with your private key. TRC 10 was the previous version of TRC20. If you compare trc10 vs trc20 TRC10 was the technical token standard supported on the Tron blockchain, while TRC20 is the technical standard used for smart contracts on the blockchain.

3. Offerings of a Tron dApp developer

Tron dApp developer work to create dApps to work on the Tron network. They can build TRX dApps that work in different industries like healthcare, logistics, and fintech. Tools used by developers for dApps Tron are,

  • Tron grid is an API on the Tron ecosystem. Dapp developers use the Trongrid to access tools to create dApp Tron.
  • Tron web is an API-based JS that comprises objects in decentralized applications.

Tron box configures dApp Tron projects by organizing

  • Tron case- Smart contracts use the Tron case to get the complete node.
  • Tron station is a JS API library and web-based framework with easy to use UI. Developers use Tron station to estimate Tron brandwidth and energy usage while building TRX dApps.

4. Offerings on Tron wallet app setup

When you launch your Tron wallet app, you have the option of creating or restoring your wallet. Choose the create option if you are installing the app, you are redirected to a screen where you will need to enter the PIN twice. Once you have chosen and confirmed your pin, you are shown a combination of 12 words required to recover your wallet. We recommend writing down the combination of words and storing it in a safe place.

To get the TRX contract address, click on the Tron app and click on the receive button, you can now view your address and QR-reader. There is a send button on the Tron app. Tap on it to see the send screen. You can now select the token and the address of the person you would like to transfer funds to, remember to review the transaction before submitting it.

5. Setting up Tron mining

Here is a brief synopsis of how to do Tron mining? You cannot currently possible to Tron coin mining, but users can gain TRX by mining Ethereum using GPU (Graphical Processing Unit). Mining on GPU is more efficient than mining on CPU. Users need to visit the Tron mining website to mine Tron, they can choose between two algorithms Ethash (uses Ethereum) or Cryptonite algorithm (uses Monero). There are several steps involved in Tron coin mining,

  • Download a good and efficient GPU mining software.
  • Open a batch file named start_only_eth. Open the website Ton-mining.com to copy the Ethash algorithm.
  • Highlight the text appear eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999 and receive with your receive address.
  • You can copy Tron receive address from your Tron wallet. It is advisable to rename your BAT file to ETH or TRX for easier identification.
  • Close your text file and set up your miners.
